We need to ask our government to reverse the law that groups can sue and their legal expenses are paid for by the government.  If these groups had to pay for their own legal activities many of these suits would just go away.

I do not believe this will stop the wolf hunts in Montana and Idaho this fall.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Maybe the environmental groups need to be sued.

Maybe the environmental groups need to be sued.
:yeah:

I think they should be sued to and required to justify the millions in taxpayers money these lawsuits are costing ... all for an animal that is not even on the endangered species list.  How in the (insert expletive) can they even be allowed to file a lawsuit trying to stop a hunt for a non-endangered species?  That would be like someone filing a lawsuit to stop deer hunting :dunno:

I understand they they are loosly trying to base this on the fact that they think the way wolves were delisted was unconstitutional ... but the fact remains is they are a recovered species in Idaho and Montana and have been for quite some time.  They were going to be delisted one way or another, because the are no longer endangered.

In their suit they are claiming they want 2,000-5,000 animals roaming all western states including California.  That would be like us filing a lawsuit saying we know that elk aren't endangered in this state, but we would really like to have around 250,000 of them here ... just because we really like them.  How can the courts even take these people seriously?  Makes me sick.

Sad but true Rasbo.  In a Facebook discussion with these Alliance for the Wild Rockies folks, they are flat out asked why they are trying to stop a hunt for a species that is not endangered.  A response is posted (by someone that frequently comments on all of those pages) "Maybe because some are against KILLING?"

Just makes me sick that the courts know damn well this is about people trying to tell other people how to live their lives, and they allow the suits to happen.  They don't like to hunt, so they don't think we should be able to - and the courts listen.  That isn't the way our forefathers envisioned things playing out.

I think we should sue them too. It would be good for them to have to come to their milk.  Maybe if they had to pay back all the moneys they would shut the (blank) up.. And yes,, JUSTIFY WHERE OUR MONEY IS GOING!!!!

:bash: Did any one read the short blurb on page 5 of the june issue of fur-fish-game about how boon and crockett officials questioning the equal access to justice act. they said that in the idaho and wyoming anti-delisting lawsuit they got $263,099 for that one case alone. that is absurd clearly there are seriouse glitches in our system. sad times  :'(.

Similar to when an ex keeps hauling you back to court to drain the last ounces of blood out of you.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Comparing Ex's to wolves, best comparison yet
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
