Rufus fishing

I 'm surprised that there haven't been any posts about the triploid fishing below Cheif Joseph dam. It only lasts until the end of the month. I know salmon is underway, but getting to keep 4 big trout for the smoker can't be beat. My buddies that live over that way have been going out alot and have been limiting every time...they say they are only keeping the ones over 10 lbs. The cell phone pics I've seen have been awesome-they have been trolling and getting hits on just about everything they use. Why run up to the pens for 2 fish when you can get 4 below the dam? I'm dying to go but just can't get the time off to get any fishing in this month....
Just needed to whine a bit.....

You should change the thread name to "Wells Pool" fishing if you're talking below Cheif Joe.

Since I was trying to attract the attention of folks fishing Rufus and let them know about a good fishery at Wells Pool I thought the title was fine. I really didn't think that it mattered-sorry for the mis-labelling.

tons of them and more people the better catching and getting them out of the pool.. we limited on them every time we have fished for salmon.. they need to be removed or the salmon and steelhead eggs/smolt will pay the price!!!!
the numbers that have dumped over the dam most huge to have everyone catching them at will from boats or shore
