Do it everyear and its my favorite. Warm weather big uneducated geese and a five bird limit ...doesn't get much better in my opinion

I'm usually bow hunting elk/deer during the early goose season.  There are a number of honkers on the lakes and ponds around where I bow hunt that are tempting but I havn't gone after them yet.  This could be the year...it would be nice to actually harvest an animal in September for a change .

It's funny how those sassy honkers dissapear in September.  I've got my eyes on few that I hope stick around  :mgun2:

Where do you like to hunt? I could be into it depending on where you're at.

Did it for several years when i was so into waterfowling.  It was very hit and miss for me on public land.  Sounds like the guys with private scouted lands do great.  I would not expect to go out on public land and have limits though.
