I'm not sure if it was the yard pro or the eliminator but we had one at the rod and gun and it sat for a few years without a buyer until a new manager came in and bought it. It wouldn't zero and he sent it off to the manufacturer was the last i heard on it.
"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

Loving life in the Great Northwest one day at a time.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Sorry, this is off the subject, but as soon as I saw "burris eliminator" I started laughing. That jackwad "Steve" on Steve's ultimate adventures says you can't shoot a deer or elk without one. I was watching one of his shows where they were deer hunting. There was a buck out at about 400 yards bobbing and weaving up through the 6' high sage, never stopping. The hunter couldn't get a shot. This Steve bozo, says that if the hunter had the "Burris Eliminator" on his rifle, he cold have gotten that buck.
Oh, to answer your question, No. And I think they look ridiculous. I'll take my Leupold on my rifle with my range finder in my pocket.

That is the ugliest, most rediculous hunting gadget I have ever seen. Steve is a tool.

I actually liked the idea of the range finder in the scope. So I bought the Bushnell yardage Pro Laser rangerfinder scope with BDC turrets. Now I have to agree with the other guys. Steve is a "tool" but you have to give him credit. He probably makes more money than any of us and gets to do it doing something he loves to do.

As for the scope, I mounted it, sighted it in first at 50 yards, then at 100 yards. Threw on the turret that matched my loads and wahlah....it did a super job. I can shoot out to 750 yards confidently. If I practiced more at longer yardages (750-1000) compensating for spin-drift, coriolis effect, wind and air density...the scope could get me there if it had 20 power magnification. Sadly it does not and I don't have an area to practice those long distances but 750 is quite good enough for me. I have to say it is very nice to keep your sight picture and rangefind at the same time. A simple turn to the proper yardage....hold or adjust for wind and its a dead animal. I really like mine. The optics are crisp and clear and good at low light.

So thats my  :twocents: but there are some guys out there that don't like them. I don't quite understand why, I guess for some you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. Some say they don't like the look of them but I say all that matters is what you see when you look through them. Mine is spot on accurate and my friend who is a serious leupold snob says my optics are better than his.

I have to admit though, my next purchase will be a Nightforce  :EAT:

I happen to feel that all this new technology, is starting to take away from actually hunting. As long as it's legal, to each their own, I guess. I also have a weekness for the look, feel, and smell of a rifle, and those monsterous scopes just don't fit for me.

As far as Steve making more money doing what he loves, good for him, but I know a lot of stupid people that have more money than me. (I'm not saying Steve is stupid, just annoying.)
