PSLRA Hunt Test
« on: August 23, 2011, 11:37:32 PM »
Puget Sound Lab Club Hunt Test This weekend at Peppers Retriever Grounds. Anyone interested in checking out the dogs work, come on down. There should be plenty of ducks available for training birds by 4pm on Sunday. If you'd like some, please come pick them up. We always have a lot of birds available after the test. (they'll be dead:)) Usually, they just need to be hung up in front of a fan for a few hours then re-freeze them and they last a long time.

Come check out the dogs working Sat or Sun if you don't have anything to do and would like to watch a hunt test. I'll be out shooting as usual. If you would like to volunteer to shoot ducks for a half day or full day, just drop me a note and I'll put you to work. Need a skeet or IC choke. We provide ammo and lunch. I'll provide beverage once the guns are put away.... :chuckle:

so far, nobody has ever taken me up on the offer to shoot ducks on a weekend......I'd love for a few guys to come out and nock a few mallards down for the dogs....anyone?? Just need to be a good shot, have improved or skeet choke and like to sit around, tell lies and drop mallards.......We could use some good gunners for next season and this is the last local hunt test. We have a good time.....Gasman shows up when Rocky and Mom say he can.... :chuckle: :chuckle:

Hey Paul. We met up there a couple weeks ago (my sis had the chessie). I would love to help with the shooting but I am pretty busy this weekend. I didn't think it would be hard to find help with that. I'll be more than happy to offer up next year once or twice. Have a great weekend.

we have enough people just trying to see if any newbies want to get involved. We have a lot of fun...
