Got acouple Questions

Hey my name is brian, im new to the whole hunting thing and I am just asking, Has anyone hunted on the olympic coast side?
any pointers as to where to go or tips to where good hunting spots are?

Lots of the trails that lead into the Wilderness areas will get you into the alpine areas where its easier to spot the bears. Its tough hunting even though you might see 10 plus bears/day. Find berries up high on north facing slopes and you will find bears. Theres a few books that will give you info on trails/trail heads that will get you up there

Just find anywhere where not a lot of people go, and you will find animals. Take a hike :chuckle:

Is there a specific reason you want to head to the coast besides the thought of bigger bears. There are plenty close by and big ones too if you know where to look up around stevens pass. Its a heck of a lot closer than the Olympics.    :twocents:

my buddy has property over there but we have been over there many times now and seen only old scat.
can you point me to a place where i might get better luck on this side of the water?
