Wait till he furs out this winter.  That's what I'm after.  I think I might even buy a trapping license over in ID.

Is Washington using ear tags like Oregon?  It does seem like a good idea for identification instead of having to guess which pack a wolf is from when they get a picture of one.

Washington ear tags the pups when they trap them.  Usually it's because they're too small (still growing) for a collar.
