I recommend saving you money and buying a high end gun like the Browning maxuis or something along those lines.

No such thing, inexpensive semi autos are a joke.  Might as well get a benelli if you want something that will last and not cause problems, or get a nice pump gun.

We all spends a ton of $ on gas, lodging, decoys, boats, dogs etc...for duck hunting. The reason you out there is knock down some ducks. If your gun jams, fails or breaks your day is done or you become the designated caller. Its like the discussion about fishing hooks or shot shells...by the best. i recommend the same with a auto loader. it will be most likely be with you the rest of your life.

I agree with the others. The cheap autos will cause you a lot of problems. They are very touchy and will jam a lot. Either spend the money and get a good quality auto or get her a pump or over under.

I bought a Stoeger M2000this last spring for $450.
Have had it through 3 hunt  test shooting several boxes of shell (as well as ducks) and it has performed flawlessly so far.

I asked teh same question earlier this year and got the same resonces, untill someone mentioned the Stoeger. I checked in to it and have not recall finding any bad reviews either.

Most everyone sells them for the same price, so price shopping is a waste. I did find one on Gun Broker for $399, but then by the time you pay the fees, it just aint worth it.

My dad has a tri-star viper g2 that he got for like 350. It has been through a whole season of hunting, and target shooting and it hasn't had any problems. From tese posts I hope it doesn't do anything bad. I actually like that gun a lot even though that I am a remington fan.

I'm a BB 3 or 3/12" improved cyl kind of guy for my Beneilli Nova. You will need to pattern your gun to see what it throws the best. If you decoying Geese and anticipate a 30 yd or closer shot Improved will most likely work well. If your pass shooting 40+ yard birds modified might be the best. Once you find a good shell/choke combo stick with it....most everything patterns different so take the time to find out what works the best.
