Took a spike out of the Manashtash to Ownes years ago.  Got just two boxes back.  Just sayin.
I hear you about that sh!t stopped taking stuff there in 04 because I wasn't happy with their work then tried them again this year with an elk and seems like things haven't changed.   Will not be going again.
I take all my stuff to kelso meats in snohomish.

Stacy custom meats in Ephrata seems to do a good job for my family. They have processed 2 calves, 2 deer and an elk for my family in the last two years. All was done very well.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I've known some of the kelso family for a long time and have never had any problems with them.  I think every place has it ups and downs.

I do my own processing but I buy spices and casings from Olson's meats and smokehouse in Enumclaw, Wa.  They are great. All kinds of awards for their products.

For the people who complain about not getting their meat back try cleaning in up before bringing it in. Butchers don't gut your blood shot animal. Better yet process it yourself. It is part of hunting. Just my opinion.

I would never go back to Kelsos either....  They must have been in a "down" period...
