My first year deer hunting was in a 76 Duster. Slept in back several times that year, just ask huntlakewood  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Drove around a few seasons in an Astro Van. Had to have the family along you know  8)

My first bull elk and second trophy mule deer, was riding around Montana in my Geo Metro.  At game check station, person in back of me had to get out and take picture of my car with a dressed out deer and elk quarters and antlers in my car with hatchback tied down part way open.

Hmm...haven't had that good of luck with my Toyota Tacoma...maybe I need to downsize.

I've roped a few deer onto a toyota corolla , It's all good ! one year my brother and I took his cellica to the top of bald mountain strattling the ruts . It's been years but brings back good memories.

I know this thread diverged from the original intent but I have to jump in... I took my first elk home in my Honda Civic.  When you quarter a cow they fit very nicely in the trunk.
