my prediction is the apps for these tags will drop drastically next year... I will never spend that type of money on a doe tag :bash:

I hope this proves true!  I haven't been able to draw a doe tag since they changed the rules and let everyone into the draw with all their points for a measly $6.50.  Maybe I'll be able to get one next year.  I'll gladly pay the extra to get to hunt more days.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Anyone know what the second deer tags are going to cost for youth and disabled?

And, can I buy an archery deer tag and put in for 2nd deer modern firearm or do both weapon choices have to match?

DoubleJ- Look on page 24 of the regulations:

"The second tag must be the same weapon choice as your first tag. You may hunt only with the hunting method in compliance with your tag."

You can't just buy one now anyways, so your disappointment is pointless....    :dunno:

I'd like to put in for the 2nd deer draw though.  But, pointless since I've never been to the areas.  I guess I could start a "I got drawn but can't scout, give me your honey hole" thread if I get drawn.  :chuckle:

You've got plenty of time to figure out where to apply and for scouting since the apps for 2012 won't be out until next spring....   ;)

It doesn't matter anyways because we will more than likely not be selected...I will continue to do what I do and pay the money unfortunately.
