Nothing but dang does
« on: August 26, 2011, 09:57:51 AM »
Good Morning Washington.  This pic is from one of my hunting spots in S. Carolina.  I am a Washington native, and live in SC now.  Thought I would share a pic with you guys.  I have a bunch of German Shepherd sized does coming in.  I have been baiting this site for over a month now, and have yet to have a buck come in.  Doe season starts September 15th, guess I know where I will be!

I know it, the rut down here is really wierd.  Sometimes it starts as soon as the end of September, and sometimes it starts the middle of October.  Two years ago, I shot a buck August 21st that had a swolen neck and looked like he had been fighting.  I'm not going to shoot any of those does until the end of October or beginning of November.  I have 4 doe tags that will be burning a hole in my pocket in the mean time  :tung:

Ed,
It's the IR 4 or 6 I can't remember.  I know that it didn't cost too much, maybe $99 or so.  I really like the camera, battery life is good and pictures aren't bad.  Four C cell batteries usually take around 1500 pictures or so.  I swap the batteries out before they ever die so I don't know for sure how many it will take exactly before the batteries die.  Overall very happy.

Cute little buggers...don't shoot the one that has spots!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
