2 week soak
« on: August 27, 2011, 09:40:47 PM »
In my elk spot!  Lots of pics but here are 3 for now.... lots of elk, a few deer and a very very nice color phase bear.  Looks like a big bear to me!

you can tell when its a big bear... the wedge in the middle of the head... that plus the snout and ears... comparing the bull in the 1 pick, back at the top of the stump, then where the bears head is to the same stump..... my conclusion,  shooter!

Not sure what is wrong with that camera... will have to check it out when I pull it down.  It was taking great pics here on the Island..... maybe it doesn't like the dry stuff??  LOL

Is it an IR cam?  I"m guessing the IR filter is stuck over the lens?  Great pics by the way
If you dont do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do!

Here are the pics straight off the cam... over 1100 pics... so here are just a few and a better pic of the bear.  Lots of bulls... and cows on this cam,  might be a pretty good year.  Don't mind the date, it is messed up.
