Off CLip-On
« on: August 14, 2011, 08:51:04 PM »
I tried this while out bear hunting this weekend.  Guess what...it actually worked.   :dunno:  These are the skeeters the size of turkey and swarm like piranha to.  :chuckle: Worked on the flies and noseeums as well.  Has a little battery powered fan that make a little noise though.  Not loud and I got used to it after about 10 minutes.  Just thought I would report.

Thats why I tried them also.  Figure for $9 and $5 for two refills it was worth a shot.  The refills last 12 hours and have to be used within 2 weeks of opening.  I get attacked at night while doing chores in the yard so this will work for that also.

Just to update.  I used the first refill all week while working in the garden and it worked great.  Went out to the woods today with the next refill and it worked great again.  I was hot and sweaty and the bugs really wanted a piece of me.  I could see them all around me but they could not get close.  So nice to not be covered in stinking bug spray.
