Goes from free to $13.20 plus $.50 per species, hmmm. Think if they wanted the new fees they could've started them a little lower then $13.

To support surveys and additional management activities?  I wonder how much out of the $0-to over $50 jump is actually going towards that? One dollar?

I see it fine.  I have noticed that some pictures posted in the Trailcams section only load as a blank box with a red X, but if I click anywhere inside the box the picture is loaded, I assume by my browser.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

So my guess is they will sell snow goose report cards and SW washington cards and very few of the others...

WDFW is on track this year to tie or break their record for license revenue. Doesn't appear many people are stop purchasing licenses....

What I see is them testing the market so to speak to see how much the can charge and make the most profit.  If it is too high for too many, they'll lower it.  Look at pheasant, the price dropped from $92 to $82.50.  If I remember correctly they said they overestimated what they thought people would be willing to pay.  I know I and everyone I knew that hunted pheasant said F-it, we'll go for grouse and big game instead.

I can for see people being more selective of their hunting and fishing... EVERYTHING is competition for free time. Duck hunters that dabble in archery or muzzle loading may make a choice... I think there is defiantly going to be less Jack of all trades that Hunt and fish a little of everything...  :twocents:

well said special t ... i like to hunt ducks once in awhile and the same with pheasant, well i think from now on i am gonna only hunt blacktail which is and always will be my passion in life... i have numerous elk in my back yard some of the bulls are approaching 400 class well i guess i wont be killn them, i would rather just watch them anyways i think, though they are damn fine eatn, but to be honest i am tired of being nickle and dimed for every damn little thing, quit attackn the sportsmen and women for your short falls and mismanaged budgets and be more fricken responsible, maybe the WDFW is just trying to make it so expensive that noone will want to hunt or fish anymore :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Big Tex  Where did you get your info on that? I must say that this year i gave them more than last... I got the elk deer bear cougar small game, waterfowl and crabbing lic this year... Last year i only got deer small game waterfowl...
There often is a big disconnect with verbal complaints and action... If the WDFW is going to take in record REV what are they going to do with it? I've said this before but if i get more, I'm willing to pay more.

I don't like price hikes anymore than anyone else, that said the WDFW LIES to us and uses OUR $$$ for stuff it has no mandate to do... If the WDFW is going to rely more exclusively on Hunter and Angler dollars then they best get their priorities straight..

The WDFW will use and abuse hunters/anglers for as long as we let them.  :twocents:
