Well I cant get any sleep! Might have to pull an all nighter just because I am so ready to get out into the woods at 4:30 this morning. Im heading into the place everyone says big foot is and all the elk escaped from and are on there way to the blues.  :chuckle: :chuckle:  I know where a few good bucks are. Hopefully they will be there today.

Well, I have to join the club and say that I am very excited for tomorrow. Packing up and heading east to hunt Elk finally. We set up camp last weekend and a couple guys have been there all week.  We are staying for the entire season so it ought to be just enough time to recharge the soul and hopefully put some Elk backstraps in the freezer. We have 3 quality bull tags in our group this year so it should be a blast bringing the bulls in!

Good luck to all and I hope we can share some bull pics when we return rather than a pot of tag soup!

Good call.  For whatever reason the BMM trained the Big Foot to ONLY kill elk. Big Foot is easily confused at times, and when confronted with a deer is unsure what to do.  In all of my research I have never seen an instance where Big Foot ate a deer.  Be safe out there and always watch your back.  Big Foot doesn't eat deer but he does like to eat him some human.   :yike:

It is supposed to be in the upper 80's to low 90's for the opener of archery elk here on the wet side.  I was gonna take it off but not in that kind of weather.  I won't risk spoilage.
