Nock,  was your camera lens fogged up or was it just that foggy out. (Or am I getting cataracts)  :)
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

That is kind of a weird spot for them isn't it?

No, I assume them being back there has something to do with the logging that's going to be happening this summer. (and road building)

I probably should get my cameras out of there soon.

Looks like a DNR logo on the guys hard hat.  They're so bogged down with environmental hurdles that when they get that sale laid out it probably won't be put up for auction for a year or more after that, and likely won't be logged by the purchaser for another year.  Your camera is probably safe for the time being, but once the sale gets advertised I'd take it down because prospective buyers will be scouring the sale area.

I don't think they're DNR. There's no state land in this area, it's all private.

I rarely get people on my cams. But have a cam that I have had set up for a few years now which someone came across and they aren't stealing my cam but are deleting my photos during season to make sure I don't see what's on it. Had a salt lick going and animals were consistently on it but these guys are screwing the area up. I know it's public land but sucks. So this year I'm done with putting my cam up there and no more salt being hauled in on my back for them to hunt over. I believe it is a group that illegally uses motorized access to set up a camp about 4 miles in behind a locked gate. Have talked to them in past and they told me they had been shooting elk out of a drainage for a couple years there and I am finally catching on to why they are getting elk. They are sitting over the salt sight and deleting the evidence. It's all good though. Found an even better spot.
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.

Surveyors, they probably will be logging the timber in the future.
