Dang, I wonder if it was standing there in the brush watching them go by.  It had to have been.  I always wonder how often that happens to me out in the woods.

Potentially could be making this thread once someone checks their camera. Setting it 50 yards from someone else's ( mine) set up that has been obviously maintained and monitored for a year is a dick move. Sometimes I wish I wasn't a decent person but I am and your camera is still there and not messed with. Public lands right, anyone can be anywhere, still a fat weiner though.

Why can't somebody set a camera near yours?  It's not a camp, stereo, blind or tree stand.

Clearly, anyone can do anything they want.  Still doesn't mean it isn't frustrating.

But it's not going to scare off animals, are you worried about increasing the chance of theft?  I just don't see what the concern is.

I think the concern is that this guy knows he is obviously going to hunt this spot and now this guy is setting up here.  It's more of a courtesy issue.  I have personally been to his spot and this guy is right on top of him.  If it were me, I would give the courtesy of moving to a new location.

That's making some assumptions, maybe one is a retired guy and the other is a weekender.  You never know.

Wow you would argue with a block wall about what color it is or should be, wouldn't you?
funniest post I have seen in my short tenure HAHAH.

I had this guy walk by once.

Looking for his owls or putting up wildlife cams. He is a longtime volunteer.

Good to know!
Can you expand further on his wildlife cameras? Is this a public thing or personal?

We were right that he wasn't another hunter.

I was going to put those pics up of those girls at the Steve stand location but for some reason I think I was being a moron again and didn't save them in my folder.  I have to quit checking my pics at camp after whiskey.

I was out this morning about 10 miles north of Shelton and came across two piles of apples, one green and red, the other red with potatoes.  They looked new within the last 24 hours.  I figured I made somebodies cam, but I couldn't see one as I worked my way further up the trail.

Please post my pics when you download them.

Anybody ever consider carrying a card reader while in the woods to make copies of other people's cam captures?  Cut's down on scouting legwork!

:yeah:

With only one exception Ive ever made.. Me and the lady were looking for deer out near elbe, We came across a game trail that we walked down a bit.
Found someones trail cam on the side of the trail, looked like someone remove the batteries and the card. The camera was still strapped (not locked) to the tree.
Looks like someone just stole the card and batteries  :dunno: So we then just unstrapped the cam and strapped it back to the tree near the base and covered it with a few branches just to hide it from anyone else who may not be as honest. That way hopefully the owner will remember where it was and would see it at the base.
One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.
