Had this buck on camera all summer and early fall! Thank you for being nice to my camera. Hope you see this so we can compare notes on this area and I can get you some pictures of him in velvet and on the hoof.

That’s one of the best photos on this thread. A successful hunter giving a friendly wave!

I know its been beat to death, but I was so angry Saturday when I hiked four miles into a hell hole I left a cam to soak through winter only to find it had been taken. I was so excited to see what was on the cam and then so fuming mad the entire hike out wondering what kind of fellow hunter would take that cam. There would be no other reason for anyone to be in that area. I've never even seen another human boot track in this spot. So infuriating.  :bash:

Man that SUCKS!!  Unfortunately a lot of us here feel your exact pain, I walked up to one of my cams a couple of weeks ago to find the bear box (Bushnell), destroyed and plastic scattered around  :bash:  At least they didn't get a working cam...…..

Any chance it was a bear? I've had 'em knock mine off the tree. Or that you just couldn't remember the exact location? I know that several times I've wandered around for 15 minutes or so before I finally spotted my camera - hid it too well, apparently. (I've also had 'em stolen, though never out of a spot anything like as remote as what you're describing.)

I’ve had mine ripped off the trees by elk as well. Once the elk had it about 30’ away before I found it.

How can a fellow hunter place blame on a fellow hunter without first having proof it was a fellow hunter at all?Hikers hike everywhere in this state,Anti hunters as well.Making hunters look like thieving scoundrels without any proof by fellow hunters is as bad or worse than the actions the thief did by stealing the trail cam.  :twocents: Hunters need to stop making hunters look bad.
