Its kind of unclear looking at the new rates, but it doesn't show how much specifically the second deer tag is. I DONT think it'll be 66 dollars. Most things up there increased about 10%. I'd expect it to be about 2-3 dollars more. The 66 is if you bundle the deer only tag/license with the small game license. Its not THAT big of a deal, just expect to pay 10% more than today.
$66 for 2nd deer tag as of Sept 1st, they gave us that in a handout at the WDFW meetings.
:bash:I wish I could have a second deer tag, and I apply for whidbey every year I guess you have to live off the island to get a second tag on the island

Who in their right mind is going to pay $68.50 to shoot a blacktail island doe. (Not to mention the $6.50 special permit application). Basically it comes down to a little more than $75 and a royal pain in the arse to shoot a blacktail doe.I can maybe see it for a muley doe...thats a maybe.Question: How do they justify your first deer being $42.90 and the second being $66. The new prices for bear are $22... and the price for the second is $22. Are they dumb or do they think we are?
Just attempted to get mine. It is now 66.00 + dealer fees. I guess it is my fault as I did not realize there was going to be an increase. However, for 66.00 I passed and wont use the tag. Idaho continues to look better every year.
