Wow. It a miracle that kid is even alive. Thats unfortunate.

I pray that little fella pulls through. Real sad. Being a father my self I cannot imagine what went through that fathers head, good reason to have a big dog and gun around in cougar land. I hate to say it but the sad truth cougars will remain innocent cats until this happens in our state then maybe we can bring back dog hunting.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Perhaps there needsto be a bounty on the cats. I know humans getting attacked is not a common thing but i cant think of a single reason not to shoot one on sight. It isnt like they are helpful to the environment. Same with the dam wolves.

Unfortunate event! Surprised the lion didn't run off with the young boy after the grab!

My vengeful mind has thought about the killing retribution rampage I would go on if one of my children were ever injured or killed by an apex predator.

Hope the child has a full recovery.

i am with you twistiron and hardcorehunter, if a cat hurt one of my kids or worse caused death to one of them i would be one messed up individual, i would be the most illegal cat huntn crazed dad in the world, i would quit my damn job and move in to the mountains and kill as many cats as i could, i can tell you this when i had hounds some of the big cats that we treed and had to turn lose were fricken huge, they would have no problem killn a man or worse a women or child, the only way to fix this is bring back hounds and trappen and knock these cat numbers down a bit, these cats have no reason to fear man anymore and crap wont change until one of these cats mess with a politician
