Your Elk Camp
« on: August 31, 2011, 09:49:05 AM »
Not sure if this has been done this year. With the season just about a week away and everyones anticipation rising, lets see pics or even a list of the things that you will be bringing to elk camp this year. Just to get everyone excited for the season. i would start but i am just a tag along this year and just bringing the abvious items needed for hunting, the other hunters in my camp are bringing everything.

Looks like we have the same trailer!  Nothing better than taking a shower (hot for once), watching a movie on the TV, or better yet reviewing the video of the hunt!  Oh wait is it really 80+ degrees... kick on the AC!  LOL  Not sure I like it better than the wall tent, but it sure does make it easier.

I was gonna bring the wood stove for the tent to cook on and do my coffee on and dry out any boot so on and so fourth so my question would be should i still bring it?  Is it gonna be to hot to cook at night and coffe in the morn?  I made it my self prett fancy for a fifty gallon drum.  Is it burn ban on all fires, including wood stoves for the tent?  I made a spark arrestor with metal screen and stove pipe top, will i get fined by the man.

Pretty sure, but not positive that if there is a burn ban, that is on all wood burning appliances, camp fire, burn barrel, wood stove, arrestor or not.
