You aren't required to eat the predators that you kill, so saying "bite the dust" should be an acceptable phrase for them too. I really find it hard to believe that anyone would take exception to that kind of phrase when referring to the likes of coyotes or wolves......

Yes, congratulations go to the successful hunters; likely a 'first-ever' for each of them. I dream of one day having an opportunity to draw on a such an animal. But might we keep in mind that it isn't an arcade game they are playing and they aren't shooting zombies. I think that "Biting the dust" (nothing personal, SpookG, I'm just gonna use those words as an example) is something that should be reserved for the likes of the Raiders and the Lakers (or zombies) and not the game animals that we hunt.
