Is everyone else seeing more bear!
« on: September 01, 2011, 07:32:42 AM »
Don't know if it's the cooler weather, shorter days, or berries but have been seeing more bears out and about in the last few days. Now if I could only shoot straight. :bash: :bash: I mean seriously I should just cut up my license and eat my tags for missing at 100yards!

I haven't been out since last week but before that I was seeing a bear a week.  I'm still looking for number 2 hopefully tonight with bow in hand.

Yes I am getting a little frustrated but not pessimistic.  I was in Souxan and Wind River GMUs this last week went out 4 times and tried calling no luck.  Huckleberry bushes are absolutely loaded with ripe berries.  I don't know if that is bad or good having so many almost anywhere you went down there.  Last couple of evenings got pretty cool above 3500-4000 ft.
