when you draw do you pull the string and peephole straight to your eye and anchor point as the cams turn over in one fluid motion or do you wait for the cams to turn and then bring it all the way to your anchor point to shoot?

this is my first compound after messing with recurves and longbows my whole life and I just can't get used to those durn cams turning over for the lef off :bash:  I get excellent groups out to 60 yard but the whole drawing process seems herky jurky to me.

Some of us old timers have had the benefit of easing into the high let-off bows.  From recurve to 35% then 45% then 60% and now 80%.  I remember complaining about herky jerky back when we made the jump to 60%, but we all got used to it and have come to enjoy the higher let-off.  Especially now that I am trying my best to hold on to my manly poundage without enduring the embarrassment of getting showed up by some smartalec youngster.  In time your muscles will learn the force draw curve and your draw cycle will get smooth enough to draw straight into your anchor.  It's a test of patience for sure, but soon you won't know what all the fuss was about.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
