Thanks sounds like the 4100 corridor is open for vehicles and behind the gates on MT Bikes

Arnolds Maps in vancouver washington can get you any map you want if he does not have it already ha can order it.360 6957897. They put his company and info every year in the hunting reg book. Great guy and easy to deal with. Arnolds son now runs the business and his name is Phil. Good luck, and straight shooting.

You guys are making this way more complicated than it is CALL THE HOTLINE IT TELLS YOU WETHER YOU CAN WALK OR RIDE BIKES IN PERIOD. The number is in you pamplet If a gate is open and there are fire restriction you CAN NOT DRIVE THROUGH THOSE GATE they are open for loggers, and operations in the area and not you. This is very much enforce and if caught big fine let me tell you. Maybe next time you put in for a tag you should do a little research before hand.    :dunno:  Oh yeah dont count on them opening the gates for you if you shot something. I also learned this the hard way.  Happy trails.

I do my research, scouting and have called the hotline (its confusing).
My only question is are the side gates open or not for boot or vehicle ?
I hate to drive 3 hours to scout only to find out I can not get off the 4100 mainline to head up on the state patch
Can somebody throw me a PM if you know ?

My son out did me his first year out at 13! 5x5 missed the book by 1 1/8" and Yeh I am proud of him!

4100 will not reopen above the bridge till possible mid October depending on the rain.....  Fire restrictions is in place.  Hope your in shape if you plan to hunt that area.

 :tup: Got an update from a freind at work today, the Bulls up high by Castle lake are tuned up and turned on........ DNR fire crews have been working in the area and they called to the Elk they could see and all the Bulls Started talking....... You all should have a good hunt! :chuckle:
