Nice cat, it is about time someone starts getting knocking them down.  Cats cannot be taken with a rifle until Oct. 15, the opener for rifle deer.  After archery ends you can only take a cat with a muzzleloader until that season ends and rifle begins.

Pretty good amount of meat on these things.  They definitely don't bone out like a deer or an elk though.  I don't wanna hear any vulgar jokes about eating..."cat", either.    I've heard too many the last few days.
