hancock puts out!
« on: September 05, 2011, 02:49:39 PM »
with my trusty stalkers crow killer and "put em down" cameron we were able to rustle up some tasty vittles on friday!.spotted this guy bedded in a clear cut off a skid trail and crow killer along with put em down went to work.got within 45yds and we proceeded to seal the deal.great experience with all involved.been awhile since ive shot a deer, and i think this will lead to many more to come, especially after eating some backstrap!.
shut up and fish!.

Nice job. With all the bad rap Hancock gets on here, I'd almost been led to believe there were no deer there at all!

I think the deer in there just get overlooked because of the great bear hunting and giant bulls.  I've always seen a bunch of deer in there.

Which Hancock area was this?
Kapowsin, White River, Eatonville, Snoqualmie or their smaller areas????
FYI, Hancock is not a place, it is the owner.

Hancock tree farms are a place but who wants to say a mouthful like snoqualmie Hancock tree farm! Hancock is much easier to say and most folks know what you're talking about.

Nice buck eggster!!!

Hancock tree farms are a place but who wants to say a mouthful like snoqualmie Hancock tree farm! Hancock is much easier to say and most folks know what you're talking about.

All you gotta say is Kapowsin or Snoqualmie Tree Farm.

And no most folks don't know what you're talking about. Those who hunt Snoqualmie will think its a Snoqualmie deer, those that hunt Kapowsin will think its a Kapowsin.

For some reason many on this page say Hancock instead of Kapowsin. But to me when I think of a Hancock buck I only think of Snoqualmie or White River because those are the two areas I have hunted.

Not trying to be an ass, just hoping to clarify things.

And as eggster said, it was a Eatonville buck
