Will do. They say it is comparable ballistics wise to shooting a 30-06 ( 200 gr in the .338me vs 180 gr in the springfield) so I figure I will be a decent brush gun and if I chase something out into a clear cut I still have a chance.

Well I pulled the trigger today. Pun intended  . I really like the feel and balance of this rifle. I also picked up a couple boxes of ammo and really like the look of this round. I haven't shot it yet but so far I am happy with the purchase. Oh and in the picture with the 2 cartridges the longer one is a .300 win mag and the shorter one is the .338mx.
