Saw a bear!

So I took the family up little naches for a drive. We went to the end of 1905 and I got out and looked down the hill to see a bear walking through a clearing. I ran back to my rig and grabbed my weatherby but never saw it again:(. The kids and girl had a good time and we found a few black caps too.

Wow....talk about blind luck. Next time don' t leave the rifle behind I guess. Did the kids get a chance to see it?

Nope wish they would have, I had my 44 on me but it was about 300yds away. After that every dark spot was a bear to them

My son spotted one earlier this season.. We stalked him... It was an ugly, tough, stalk.

After all the sweat and brambles - we never saw him again. Phooey.

Still, all in all, it was an awful lot of fun!

Yea it was fun and the boys had lots of fun looking for bears.

Boy I know how that is. Everytime I go out to the area I usually hunt with those burned stumps. I call em bear stumps..

Think I might be heading back up there it looked promising to me I just couldnt really hunt with the family since my girl is 6 months preg and I had two of the boys with us
