my first wt buck

not much of a story. i got to the 204 friday about 1pm. went on a walk around 3pm. started to drive to a spot whare i knew this buck and a couple others may be at and cought him in the road on the way there. i jumped out, watched him for a second, decided he was good enough for my first wt buck and took a slight quartering to me shot at 30 yards. i hit his shoulder, broke a rib and killed the tree on the other side of him. 50 yards later my 6 year old found for me. both kids watched the whole thing and tracked the blood trail themselves. that made up for the short hunt. he is not vary tall but he's 18" across. 3 pt plus eye guards.
