Saw that.  Wish I didn't have to wait for the mag to come out to see it.

That is a huge buck! If you go to his web site there is also this double dropper on the home page pic.   first pic is on the web site and the other one is on monster muleys.

Rifle: 218 5/8
Archery: 203 7/8

I am not quite sure where you got your info? I am looking at the second edition of the "Record Book for Washington's Big Game". According to record book, Steve Crossley shot a typical buck that scored 218 5/8 in 1960. Taken from Chelan County. Typical youth modern rifle, the #1 buck scores 196 1/8. It was shot by Brad Wright in 1976 from Okanogan County. Typical Mule deer archery, the #1 buck scores 202 0/8 shot by Tom Adrian in 2004 from Franklin County. Typical Mule deer Muzzy, the #1 buck scores 188 1/8. Shot by  Rich Birch in 1978 from Lincoln County. Typical Mule deer youth, #1 buck scores 162 4/8 shot by David Kauer in 1994 from Chelan County. Non-typical Mule deer modern rifle scores a massive 266 1/8. Shot by Joe Mally in 1933 from Stevens County. Non typical Mule deer youth, #1 buck scores 187 6/8, shot by Kyle Tullar in 2004 from Okanogan County. Finally, non typical Mule deer Muzzy, #1 buck scores 200 3/8. Shot by Rich Birch in 1978 from Lincoln County. It appears that Mr. Rich Birch shot 2 #1 state record bucks in 1978. Hmmmmmmm, how did that happen? Typical and Non typical with a Muzzy. Or maybe one buck took both records.
