A little help
« on: September 24, 2011, 08:45:06 PM »
Hi Folks,

I was drawn for Dayton whitetail doe tag, it was my 4th choice.  I am searching for some info on the GMU, I have been out there, looked around for "feel free to hunt" land, and knocked on some doors.  Still trying to find some land for a whitetail doe.  I must admit, I have shyed away from Dayton in the past because of the immense amount of private land, but, as the lottery goes, this is where I was drawn.

Some questions I have are: are whiltetail in the southern part of the unit (in the Forest Service land), and would anyone be willing to point me in a direction for "feel free to hunt"?  Please send me a PM if possible.  Thanks!
