look at what I got on my trail cam
« on: September 08, 2011, 09:00:25 PM »
Basteges think it's a condo  :bash:

Finally get all my stuff done and get to go bow hunting, hike in still darkish kick up 3 WT , hike further in and spot a mulie doe and fawn at shooting light by 7:30 I've seen 8 more mulie does/fawns and 4 bucks all small but I think this is going to be a great day !

10 am I spot the deer I'm after nice big 3 pt, tucked under a bush in the shade he looks content, so I pack up the spotting scope and plan my stalk I figure it will take 1 1/2 hr. to make a big loop and get on top of him...so what does he do gets up, pees and heads down into the bottom and then allong the bottom heading towards an area I don't have permission to hunt..... well.. that did not go according to plan.

so I'll go check my trail cam, by the time I get there it is getting hot !   I approach it from the rear, duck under it and my face is immediately swarmed by yellow jackets -  bow in one hand so with my free hand (the one with the release attached)  I am swatting at yellow jackets ,  swing 3 puts a cut and lump over my left eye   swing 5 puts a lump on my right temple      and I only got stung once   most of my injuries were self inflicted  :chuckle:

so when I go back to hunt I'm taking three cans of wasp spray and every one of those *censored*s is going to DIE

Sorry for the RANT but I feel better now  :)

Well on a positive note it would cut down on having your camera relocated by other's.

Now that's a good point! Maybe you ought to leave them alone for a while?

yup, because the lock isn't gonna do anything on such a small tree...  some cowardly thief will just cut it down and take the whole thing.

always thought we should be allowed to put something on our cams that will electricute thieves anyway.
