stuck in a rut
« on: September 08, 2011, 09:40:49 PM »
hey folks.

trying to learn as much as i can about the rut. same time every year? predictable? source for records of past years? different for muley, white tail, east-side and wet-side? how long? etc.

i have heard much talk of the mysterious 'rut' in years past but half the stuff i hear conflicts with the other half.

can someone please give me a run down?? and not just a link to the wikipedia article.  :bdid:

It is not the same time if you are looking for a date on a calendar moon phases need to be taken into account my best advise is to spend as much time around the deer that you want to learn about and keep a journal. Good luck
Lead em if they're running.
