Nice pick up...  Yep I was trying to follow up with another shot through some wild plumb and when I let the arrow fly it took my string off my cam.  It was an easy fix.

Great job!  I just got back from the Lewis for the same reasons, way too hot...  Heck, I live real close to you, I hope this wasn't one of the elk I have on "ice".. Ha!

After all the weight was measured it is offically my largest weighted bull.  I usually get about 300 to 320 lbs of boned out meat per small bull and 337 for my largest bull.  But this one topped them all by a few lbs.  346 lbs is what we got out of this bull.  The backstraps were almost 6 inches diameter at the thickest point of the strap.
