Does it say 384 yrds or not ?I'm just blind as a bat -I can't shoot that yardage ....not with my scope and eyes :chuckle:

Yes, 384 yards.  When I found it, I took a quick range of the area and could pretty well tell where the bear was when she shot it.  I wouldn't shoot one down in that hole if I was by myself like I was last night.  Good shot and good for her..

Thats awesome... I have a stump I pounded (9) .270 casing in a stump where I have killed 9 bear .... plus I have left a couple arrows I shot into a tree where I have killed deer so when I walk by there again its my way of bringing back good memory .... :tup:

I think it is a wonderful idea, and if I have an opportunity to take my grandkids hunting and one gets a critter, I might do something along the same lines....

Kids enjoy having "their" adults recognize their accomplishments, and I think any thing we can do to encourage a youngster in our hobby is a great thing.
