counting my little boys 7mm TCU, my little girls 25-35 WIN, my wifes 7mm-08, my 25-06, my 270, my 35 Whelen AI, 2 x 223s & 7mm TCU pistol barrel for my Contender that makes 9, but my kids are outgrowing their contenders & are good enough marksmen/women that they are ready to graduate to something with more power & reach. :tup: :chuckle:

I sold all mine, too much violence in this country and if we get rid of our guns then the gun violence will go away too. :rolleyes:
I choose to exercise my 5th amendment rights.  :chuckle:

Same here however I'll say I need just one more.....

I new these answers were coming. :chuckle:

I try to take a different rifle out each time I go deer or elk hunting. I feel bad leaving the others at home. ;) Unfortunately I only hunt 3-4 days a years, so I suppose I could be good with 3-4 rifles. :dunno:

The rifle doesn't matter anyways. The real hunting is done with a handgun. :tup: the rifle is just a walking stick to get me to my stand.  Andrew

For years it was just my .30-06. I couldn't pass up a .270 for only $200 so I decided I'd make room for it in the closet. However, it doesn't get shot a lot and I am still a 'one rifle hunter.'  8)

I only ever use one rifle, and when I move on the old one is retired.

The progression:  Savage .243  --->  Winchester Model 70 7mm  --->  Browning BAR .300 WSM  --->  Sako 85 Greywolf .300 WSM

Next on the list is a custom built .300 RUM. . . So many things I want to buy right now though, it's probably on hold since the Sako is such a fine shooter right now.  I've thought about selling the lot to build it but I just can't part with any rifle or bows that I've taken animals with.  Too much sentimental value!

Good answer.  :chuckle: Even if it is wrong. :tung:

I imagine I could be happy with just the 375 Ruger for everything and become a one gun hunter. Then all the rest would just be "target" rifles. Why wouldn't an 8# 338 make a good 100 yard BR rifle? :bfg:

(1) 30-.06, but I carry an M-4 (5.56) everyday so I guess I have two and own one. The other belongs to Uncle Sam and is assigned to me!

Just get a 30-06.  It has killed just about everything.  You can buy ammo anywhere it's sold.  Anything else will just cost you more money and slowly fill your entire house or safe. :dunno:
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
