Grandsons first early season goose!!
« on: September 12, 2011, 12:27:13 PM »

Love going hunting and fishing with my grandsons!!! Did not have a good field to hunt so Nick and I went down the river Saturday morning. We could hear geese in the foggy distance and I knew they would be coming our general direction on their way to feed. Waited about 15 minutes and a small group came in close enough to harvest grandpa and grandsons first goose together.  :)

Congrats!  We were in the lower river above Blakes fishing.  Had I thought about it, could have harvested a bird or two as well.
