I need a little help if someone wouldn't mind. I work in Kent and get off at 5 everyday. I'd like to find a area to do a little bear scouting/hunting after work. It would be easy to hop on 18 and head east, but because it's getting later in the day driving around looking for a good spot to go in at wastes daylight. idk just maybe looking for someone to throw a few ideas out.. Thanks

Wish I could help but I don't hunt down that way too much. Could give you quite a few locations up around HWY 2 around Stevens Pass.

I would head out towards Kanasket, Kangley, Cumberland, and Ravensdale.

Now that hunting seasons are starting to ramp up with archery deer and elk, you will run into people no matter where you go.

those areas are getting more and more difficult with all the private property getting fenced up.

True. And the additions of King County Natural Areas in the past few years.
However there is still quite a bit of DNR and timber company land that allows access. None of the DNR areas require the Discover Pass as well.
