I'm interested in what goes on even if i cannot be there.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

So...if I show up and say I'm hunting the Colockum and don't hunt the Colockum will I still get FREE breakfast? :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:  I love breakfast...  Do I have to bring my rifle and get all dressed up like I'm going hunting? :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The permit is only to park on Beacon ridge road. In dedicated parking spots. you can travel the road between hours of operation but you cant shoot an elk if you see one unless you have the permit. All you have to do is go to the office and register and they are free. Here is a link to there web site.  plus permit registration site. and map of area with detailed spots to park. go to recreation for copy of registration form on first link.

Something tells me the vibration might make a steady shot more difficult!

In addition: New this year, WDFW's Enforcement Department will be bringing their Hunter Education/Turn In A Poacher Trailer to engage the hunting public and general public in direct protection of their natural resources and to promote Hunter Education and recruitment.

A main attraction of the trailer is the Poachers Wall of Shame which display's wildlife and fish that have been illegal killed, along with the information about the subsequent prosecutions and disposition of the cases.  Check out the trailer at http://wdfw.wa.gov/enforcement/reporting_violations.html.
