congrats 400.. way to go man and tell  me where am i bashing somebody all i want is for people to be more informed on how to score an animal the correct way before posting a score thats all i am saying.............
Hey genius I think the point is that you should keep your expert opinion to yourself and let people be happy about their bull. It really doesn't hurt anything.
Lead em if they're running.

Right... what am I gonna do. Take it back to the big elk store and return it for a bigger one?? It doesn't really matter to me... 341 5/8" although you guys might not trust the source :chuckle:

I think you have 30 days to return it so you might as well , you need a bull with some mass and charecter anyway  :chuckle:

Charlie I don't like seeing you on here! I'm hoping that you'll go to your local big elk store and show me what a really big elk looks like...

Not sure how I missed this thread...

am i not right or in the wrong for saying something.

Both.

Leave 'em be... it's just a number and doesn't represent anything about the elk hunt other than inches of bone.  If it's off, it doesn't change the fact that they are proud of their accomplishment.  Dumping all over them over rounding up a few 1/8ths, however, changes a celebration thread into a full-on trial.  If you absolutely must prove to them that you know what a 300 class bull looks like and theirs ain't it, do us all a favor and send them a PM.  I'd wager you'll get the appropriate response.

You are close to the net score. It grossed 353 6/8th and with the net score of 342 5/8th. I was hoping you weren't going to tell me that my bull was below 300".  :brew:
