Zeiss Promotions Fuel Sales as Hunters Prepare to Hit the Field
CHESTER, Va., September 12, 2011 - The numerous Carl Zeiss Sports Optics consumer promotions underway through the end of the year are bringing even more hunters into the ever-growing ZEISS family. Promotions for long-range shooters include a $100 mail-in-rebate on all Victory Riflescopes with Rapid-Z® Ballistic Reticle and a $50 mail-in-rebate on all Conquest Riflescopes with Rapid-Z® purchased from May 1 - December 31.

Those who prefer a BDC solution may now upgrade select ZEISS Victory and Conquest riflescopes that they purchase from June 1 through the end of the year with a custom engraved ballistic turret by Kenton Industries to match their exact caliber and load for only $29.99 (a $109.99 retail value). Zeiss has also lowered the price of its award-winning Victory RF binoculars by $200 and Victory 8x26 T* PRF laser rangefinding monocular by $100.

"This is a perfect opportunity for customers to buy our premium optics, whether they are upgrading the equipment they use or are doing early Christmas shopping for a loved one," said Michael A. Jensen, President of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. "Most people are watching their dollars these days and the smart buyers are seeking both quality and value which you certainly find with ZEISS optics at these price points."

And the benefits to customers don't stop there. The legendary brands of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics and Remington Arms Company have joined forces to offer hunters the 'Ultimate Combo''. Now customers can build their own 'Ultimate Combo' by purchasing both a qualifying Remington rifle and ZEISS riflescope between August 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 and receive a $150 American Express® gift card.

Qualifying products include any Remington® Model 700™ CDL, CDL SF, BDL™, XCR, XCR II or XHR and any ZEISS Conquest or Victory riflescope, with the exception of the ZEISS Conquest 3-9x40 # 20 reticle, and must be purchased from authorized Remington and Zeiss dealers in the U.S. Customers simply need to fill out a rebate form which can be found at www.zeiss.com/sports or www.remington.com/rebates and mail this in along with both original sales receipts and proof of purchase to receive the gift card. All Ultimate Combo rebates must be postmarked by January 14, 2012 and cannot be combined with other rebate promotions.

Just passing this along as an FYI--not necessarily an endorsement of anything listed here.  :twocents:

My buddy picked up a 3x9x 40 conquest earlier this year for 299 at cabelas, amazing scope! The clarity and quality of the glass blows the vx 3 and nikons out of the water.

I used to whole heartedly agree, then I bought some edg's. I sold my leica stash. I have been a long time nikon basher after my scope debacles, but they got it right with the edg.

Well I sold my leicas which I preferred over zeiss and swaro. I have 15x swaro still only because they are still the king. For a big spotter I think kowa is it, but any of the big players will make you happy with the right eyepiece choice.

Nikon now has an EDG spotting scope, too. They used to have a lower end Prostaff model and the Fieldscope was the better, with ED glass. The EDG seems to be an even higher grade scope and they seem to think its more worthy than the Swaro since its priced out of this world  :yike:

Bofire has recently brought it to my attention that Nikon has espoused some anti-hunting positions which may be a reason to not buy from them. YMMV $0.02.
