Big enough, I'd shoot it!
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

Looks bigger than average, but i wouldn't call him a Monster.  He's a nice bear for sure.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

looks like a 100-125lb boar to me. he has room, but lots of guys shoot much smaller bears.

my thoughts are, squatty arse, very boar like. narrow ear spacing, size in relation to the trees is tough to gauge, but the sticks on the ground make me think the bigger trees in the pic are sub 20" dia. now if those are redwoods, you have a banger of a bear.

I'm pretty decent at guessing bears.  That one is better than average (175 in wa).  He's pushing 200 lbs.

Shoot, shoot, shoot!

Dead Bear....

Not even a 2nd thought
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I'd say it's an average size bear for around here.  I'd be happy with taking it if it was a different color phase...

Bear size can be hard to judge.  Like a previous poster suggested, one of the best rules is to compare ear size to head size, the smaller the ears appear, the larger the bear probably is.  Big ears usually = small/young bear.

That said...small/young bear = good eatin!  :yike:  Camp meat baby...or is it baby camp meat?!!!   :chuckle:
