Congrats on your success & great experience! As I get older I more & more appreciate the part where the ponies can get right up to them.

Heck, Run, I'll give them the GPS cooridinates if they want....he's dead...that means he is no longer there.  All they will find will be a pile of bones.

Hey Norse...Bumped into you guys up there on the trail.  I was the solo hunter that was moving up on the bull it turns out you had been following.  Felt it was the right thing to back off and let you guys go on in and work him.  You had him going good, but sounded like he hung up just out of range.  Your one heck of a caller, and really gave him a show!  I too had close opportunity at some NICE bulls but was solo and all hung up at around 60 yards.  Wound up shooting a 5x next to last evening.

Hey thanks Bam, yeah we got close, had one of his cows come down the hill and stop 8 yards behind my shooter, but he just wouldn't come down close enough for a shot.  We ended up moving camp over the hill to the west and getting into a couple really nice bulls, but just couldn't get a shot until on the way out...lol.  Thanks for letting us finish up chasing him, don't often run into guys with those kind of ethics and respect for other hunters too much anymore.  Glad you nailed one.

Great pics. Love the fact that you had some time to catch some fish too!
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
