Called in this nice Chocolate
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:18:31 PM »
We spotted this chocolate bear feeding in some wild plum trees this morning. He disappeared into a small brushy draw and we could see the trees shaking where he was feeding but could not see him. Corey brought out his home made predator call and started calling. First thing that happened was 6 mule deer came storming in to see what was making the sound. They got a whiff of the bear and took off. It took a couple minutes before the bear came out of the brushy draw and stood up to locate the sound. One shot through the chest--bear down!!
