I have had 2 of them.
I currently have 1 Cooke Canyon lab thats bad to the bone.He is only 3 and kicks A$$.
Go to the back of the hunting regs page 115 find Cooke Canyons ad and that was my first lab (Ruger) on point..
Both of my labs have been outstanding pointing dogs and its awesome to watch them work.
They bred a super lab that is second to none in upland bird hunting and solid as a rock on waterfowl as well

My lab came from Cougar Creek Labs in Arlington, but was trained by Doug and Scott at Cook Canyon.  She's a fiend when it comes to birds.

I know of quite a few Tiger Mt pups that are very nice to hunt over and train with. The Greers are good folks to work with.

I have a Tiger Mt. dog..  just put her first title on her this summer.....  totaly awesome dog...   You don't pick the pup you want out of the liter....  you just tell John what your wanting in a pup...  and he picks it for you. I told him I wanted a small female, a get up and go-er, birdy and good family pet....   watch out what ya ask for..  you just may get it...  and more   :)

I met with John when i sold my Lab to him as a started dog. Sounds like he's a great trainer and breeds some pretty good pups. My lab was out of Rattling Ridge labs and a Bearpoints lines. He's got that pup pointing like crazy (must be all the birds he's got!!!) Give John a call!
