Wet side early archery elk public land hunting tactics

Just seein' what everyone's preferred methods are.  We use most every tactic at some point.  These wetside elk are tough to get on!

i tree standed my bull this year but it was alot more work than just "Take a stand and hope something pokes it's head out and walks by"  :chuckle:

1 tip, don't hunt when it is in the mid to high 90's. it really, really sucks.

Have to go with "Other" I pretty much stick to "still hunting" the heavy stuff, occasionally calling / stalking. Where i hunt there is no spot and stalk. Its so thick its more like listen and stalk.
