Not sure.  He is a perty dog tho.  Wonder how well he would train for Waterfowl?

I have heard of a genetics test that will tell you what breed or breeds  your dog is.  I have no idea what it costs.
Hunt hard and shoot straight!

Take a look at the bottom of my thread as reference.  It's some picks of my girl Bella.  She's about the age of your pup at the time of those pictures.  I'm pretty sure your pup is 100% lab.

Its tough to tell.
What Id do is hunt it. :dunno:
If it hunts who cares if its a mix.or Take it to the vet and have them run it for a micro chip. It wont cost You anything and they will have a pretty good idea if its mixed.
Or hunt it. :chuckle:

Look like a pure lab to me. Like others have said, if he hunts and likes the water you got your self a bird dog.
Alot of idiots out there get a dog and find out they dont have the time nor patience for them, not saying this is how this dog came to be but you never know, Hell if it was my dog and he got lost I would damn sure be searching for him...
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

he is the right color?? Doesn't really matter if you found him a good home and he's going to get to hunt!  :chuckle:

Good looking dog. I've had both mixed and pure. Currently have the pure and both dogs were awesome hunters. Other than the mix being about 30 lbs bigger than she should have you would not have been able to tell she was mixed. Being pure lab is not going to guarantee a great hunter. I have seen a lot of gun shy, water shy or just plain awful hunting labs that made great pets.

I hope it works out and the dog gets a good home.
