Youth Hunt Modern Fire?
«

Quick question about the youth season in 117. My nephew is going on his first hunt and we're just a little confused about the season. Regs. say Oct. 20th thru the 23rd for Youth, 4pt min or antlerless. So I guess my question is.. Is he allowed to hunt those days only or can he hunt the regular season for a buck as well? Not sure if that makes sense but I couldn't find a straight answer and I just want to make sure we're 100% legal and that he has a good first experience. The regs are kind of hard to understand!
Thanks guys!

Everyone with the proper tag can hunt the regular general season, age doesn't matter.

During the youth hunt is the only time he can take an antlerless deer. But the rest of the season he can also hunt, he just has to follow the regs as a regular hunter, 4 pt minimum or whatever the regs say for that gmu. Wish him luck for me
